Campbell is a founding partner of MMA Lawyers and one of Queensland’s leading criminal defence lawyers.
Campbell’s passion and determination come from his desire to provide those who require legal assistance with the best care and representation available.
Campbell was educated at the prestigious Nudgee College from the age of twelve (12) where he was instilled with the discipline to achieve academic and sporting excellence.
Campbell represented Queensland U19s and U21s in rugby and is a State and National Bodybuilding champion.
Campbell pursued a career in professional sports in the United Kingdom before returning to Australia and undertaking a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science degrees at Griffith University in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast where he achieved Honours in Law.
Upon the completion of his university degrees, Campbell immediately commenced employment and began gaining valuable career experience as a Judge’s Associate in the District Court at Ipswich for Her Honour Judge Richards. During that time, Campbell assisted Her Honour through many criminal trials, sentences and various other criminal procedural applications. Campbell’s dedication and intense application to all areas of criminal law, coupled with the vast experience attained from working directly under a Judge, consolidates his reputation as one of Queensland’s leading criminal defence lawyers.
Campbell has represented high-profile sporting personalities in both criminal and disciplinary proceedings. Campbell successfully defends his clients’ criminal charges in jurisdictions throughout Australia for serious offences including murder, manslaughter and drug trafficking.
Initially admitted as a Barrister in 2002, Campbell is a strong solicitor advocate providing his clients with a trusted voice in the toughest of legal matters. Antonious is a passionate advocate when it comes to all areas of family law and criminal defence. Antonious is also highly skilled and experienced at advising and representing clients facing civil applications and criminal charges arising from domestic and family violence.
Antonious commenced his studies in law at James Cook University in Townsville and transferred to Queensland University of Technology from which he graduated in 2005. Antonious’ experience in Courts throughout Queensland in his early career together with meticulous preparation of client matters led to his appointment as a Principal of our firm in 2015, entailing the firm’s 2018 name change to Moloney MacCallum Abdelshahied Lawyers.
Antonious brings with him a wealth of experience in family law and a reputation as a powerful advocate for the rights and entitlements of all clients. Antonious has successfully defended his clients’ charges in many criminal jurisdictions for a variety of offences.
Very few legal practitioners have Antonious’ ability to represent clients in the extremely demanding areas of family, domestic violence and criminal law simultaneously. Cooper is eagerly preparing for his career in law as he works towards the qualification of Certificate III in Business Administration (Legal), all while completing his senior schooling at All Saints Anglican School here on the Gold Coast.
For one so young, Mackenzie has a love of justice and law enforcement and we are thrilled to be able to offer her the opportunity of a school-based traineeship as she steadily prepares for a career in law. Mackenzie is studying Certificate III in Business Administration (Legal), all while completing her senior schooling at Coomera Anglican School here on the Gold Coast.
